INKED dinner series #8
It’s a global movement, and everybody is invited to the table.
The inspiring global fundraising initiative #CookForSYRIA is set to expand its mission into the region with a series of activations during the 2018 Dubai Food Festival. As part of this initiative, INKED will be hosting a fund-raising dinner on March 2nd.
Curated by London based Foodie @ClerkenwellBoy and SUITCASE Magazine’s Serena Guen, with the support of Gemma Bell & Co and in partnership with Unicef NEXTGeneration London, the global movement works alongside top chefs, restaurants, and volunteers to raise vital funds for Unicef’s Children of Syria fund.
#CookForSYRIA is an initiative that began as a supper club among foodie friends. As a simple act, their intention was to celebrate Syrian cuisine and raise money to help UNICEF protect the children of Syria. The initiative quickly grew into a global movement and has spawned a campaign with over 100 restaurants, a cookbook, and hundreds of events that bring together individuals and communities to make a difference and raise funds. The movement is now launching in Dubai thanks to culinary personality and recipe contributor for #CookForSYRIA’s book, Dalia Dogmoch Soubra.
At INKED, we want to do our part to support the initiative, and would like to invite you to join as well. We will be hosting a dinner with a special 4 course menu created by our team and inspired by the #CookForSYRIA recipe book.
The #CookForSYRIA dinner at INKED will take place on March 2nd 2018 at 8pm. It is priced at AED 495 per person and all proceeds will be donated to charity.
“Through cooking, sharing recipes and the power of social media, we invite everyone to help make a difference and positive contribution towards this important initiative.” ClerkenwellBoy
We would like to thank Innovative Hiring for their furniture support for this event.
